Devil Fruits, (One Piece's power system) are known to give their user crazy powers like gravity manipulation, ice powers and other cool abilities. But at what cost. The ability to swim. This is very risky, if you consider that most of the One Piece planet is covered by water. Also, you never know what powers you get—sorta like gambling but with a power for exchange. You might think that eating the fruit will be a certain win, if you exclude the inability to swim. But devil fruits, also have a chance to give the user a really bad power.
